She has published over 20 scientific papers on various topics related to injuries, assessment and treatment approaches. Shikha has a specialization in pediatric and neurological physiotherapy.
Shikha believes that anyone and everyone can benefit from physiotherapy to meet their health and fitness goals, and is passionate about improving physical literacy of her clients to ensure a healthier lifestyle. Her physiotherapy services focus on helping her clients get back to their optimal levels of movement and functioning with physiotherapy, patient education and exercises.
I am a Registered Physiotherapist holding a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Gujarat University, with clinical experience in managing musculoskeletal, neurological, geriatric conditions. My practice is grounded in evidence-based techniques, with a strong focus on patient-centered care, functional rehabilitation, and long-term recovery.
I completed additional studies in Fitness and Health Promotion at Algonquin College, where I deepened my knowledge in exercise science, functional training, and preventive health. I am proficient in a range of manual therapy techniques including soft tissue release, trigger point therapy, and functional mobility enhancement, allowing me to deliver comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
Outside of my professional work, I am a dedicated Karate practitioner, which has strengthened my discipline, physical awareness, and understanding of movement mechanics. I also have a strong interest in philosophical studies, which shape my holistic approach to health, healing, and mindful care.
